For the very best performance from your candle, your first burn is especially important.

Allow the candle to burn for approximately 4–5 hours, or until the wax has melted evenly across the full surface of the vessel. Achieving a complete melt pool on the first burn helps prevent tunnelling and encourages a beautiful, even burn throughout the life of your candle.
